About myself

Hi! My name is Victor. I am from Kazakhstan, the city of Almaty. I have lived in Singapore, Malaysia and Turkey and now I live and work in Canada, London ON, on a permanent basis.

I have been drawn to photography all my life, I bought my first camera at the age of 17, it was an old film "Zenith 11" from a flea market.

The only thing I have more of a passion for photography is my thirst for travel. At the first opportunity I try to get out of home.

I try to print all my photos, it's nice to feel my work physically rather than just looking at pixels.

I love shooting film. I own three film cameras of different types. Film is another opportunity to experience my work physically, to preserve. I love the whole process, from loading the camera with film, to actually developing and printing from the negative.

Achievements

• My first acquaintance with product photography was on the course of one of the best photographers in Russia - Alexander Steblovskiy, which I successfully completed and received a certificate.

• Studied at Fanshawe College, London, ON, in the commercial photography program.

• Double winner of the REFLEX photo contest in the commercial photography category 2024

• Participated in an exhibition at the TAP Center of Creativity in London, Ontario.
